After hearing Troy and Harris talk about their date night activity, Ilya Rozanov decided to hijack it for a team building event. Trying to get Shane Hollander to connect with his new teammates a little more.
As the evening progresses it turns out that singing with your friends is a great way to work through some emotions but also for things to escalate when the tension is at a boiling point already.

The ideas of Harris and Roz, especially in combination tended to be at minimum quirky and at maximum absolutely unhinged. "We are not going to Monks." Troy tried not to laugh at the single "boo" coming from the kids corner. Ilya ignored it but his grin got wider. "We are doing karaoke tonight!" In an instant the room was filled again with voices of grown man discussing if "into the woods" or "let it go" would be the better choice for karaoke.
"He hijacked our date, I can't believe it. That asshole." Troy shook his head.
Most of the guys looked like they were excited to go but Hollander and Haas looked like they were about to dig a hole to hide or die in it.

Richard Carlson is an excellent therapist. He was specifically assigned to the League’s queer players to cure them of their foolish need to scream it from the rooftops.
Too bad his clients can’t tell he’s homophobic.
