“Come on, Mike. Tell me what’s wrong.”
Where does he even start? It’s not like he can tell her that everything is wrong, and it has been since he was five years old and asked the lonely boy on the swings to be his friend. It’s not like he can tell her that he’s wrong. That he is in love with his best friend, who is the younger brother of her own boyfriend, and, oh yeah, just so happens to be a boy. Mike looks up, barely able to meet his sister’s eyes. He opens his mouth, ready to deflect, before he blurts out,
“How do you ask someone out?” Shit. That is definitely not what he intended to say, and judging by the look on Nancy’s face, that isn’t what she thought he’d say either. She pushes a loose curl behind her ear before answering.
“Oh. Are you and Eleven getting back together again?"
“What? No! What? Of course not!” While he’s not surprised Nancy thinks that, he reserves the right to treat her as a crazy person.
OR: Three times Mike failed to ask Will out, and one time he succeeded.

Summary
The wizard leaned in just a little closer, voice dropping into something darker, almost intimate. “What do you think I’ve captured you for?”
Mike swallowed hard, his throat suddenly dry. “I’d rather not take a look into that sick and twisted mind of yours, William the Wicked.”
William sighed, tilting his head slightly, a faint pout playing on his lips. There’s a mole above them. It captures Mike’s attention for a moment. “I do wish they would stop calling me that.”
“Why?” Mike shot back, unable to keep the edge from his voice. “It is fitting, no?”
The wizard turned his back on him and began pacing slowly across the room, robes whispering against the stone floor. After a few moments he stopped, glancing over his shoulder to meet Mike’s eyes directly.
“Because, my dear paladin,” he said smoothly, “I grant wishes.”

Summary
Mike is a brat sometimes... okay, most of the time. It just so happens that this time he's really pissed Will off, and if Will doesn't do something about it then it's gonna be a part of their patterns. Mike pisses him off, he fucks Mike until he's a mess, Mike doesn't learn a lesson, repeats the offending behavior.
But it's just so hard to not give him what he wants when he's got those sweet eyes.

Pressing his lips together, Mike nodded. “See you at lunch?”
“Sure.”
Will looked down at Mike’s hand, still wrapped around his wrist. He forced his heart to slow down.
“Oh,” Mike said, dropping his wrist as if he’d been burned. “Sorry.”
He turned around and hurried down the hallway, almost knocking into people walking in the opposite direction.

Or, the world is ending, and Will has noticed that Mike has been acting weird lately. He spends more time with him, sits closer to him, touches him more often. He’s also unusually protective, and Will can’t put his finger on why, because Mike is straight and dating his sister.
