Grace tries hard to focus, but it truly does sound unbelievable. Human—a human heartbeat.Ryland Grace remembers, rather violently, that he has a brother. A twin. His recollections show him that, even if they didn't have the best relationship, they did love each other at some point. He can't think about it for long.
Weeks after the memories return to him, Eridian scientists and engineers inform him that there is an object stranded on one of Erid's moons. It looks eerily man-made, which gives him and Rocky pause. A heartbeat can be heard inside, weak and agonizing. So, they both decide to get back into the Hail Mary and aid whoever this may be.
