Summary
YorHa units 9S and 2B are ordered by command to locate a detachment of resistance members who were supposed to secure the wreckage of an unknown ship. Master chief lands in the world of Nier:Automata to explore his surroundings for a way to repair Cortana and ends up finding a new war. This one is centered around something he fought for as well, but he doesn't know it's already fought in vain. (Takes place after Halo 3.) This story will center around Master Chief and YorHa units 2B and 9S, as well as many others.

Summary
In the lawless expanse of the Mojave wasteland, a lone mercenary known as “Ghost” survives the harsh environment of the desert taking on any contract for the right price and following his own code. Feared by both wastelanders, Nomads, Raiders and Daxy, Ghost remains a legend for some and a terrifying presence for those seeking to bring order and control to the untamed Mojave wasteland.
Armed with nothing more than an antimaterial rifle and travelling by motorcycle across the Mojave, Ghost refuses any sorts of attachments or submit himself to any kind of control. Yet beneath the mask and cold appearance, a young man shaped by loss hides and tries his best to reclaim what he has lost against the Empire.
During a routine contract, Ghost ends up drawing more attention than expected from both the Empire and the Wasteland.
