Summary
The blood dripping from the wolf’s maw was a sight to behold, but Wednesday still couldn't help but be surprised. Even though this was still Enid, in all her whiny and obnoxious glory, her personality was clearly somewhat altered. This was not the same Enid who apologized for hurting a stuffed animal. Or perhaps it was, and Wednesday was just witnessing a different side to her. She could not deny it was a side she quite enjoyed to see.

Wednesday agrees to come to San Francisco to help Enid control her inner wolf. Wednesday feels some kind of way about it.

“I suppose I should thank you,” Goro said, sighing and agonizing over every word, as if he was conceding to some crime against his will.
“It’s kind of funny how dramatic you’re being about it. Like, thanking me physically pains you or something.” Ren chuckled. “But whatever, that’s just you being you. I don’t mind.”
“You’re strange for preferring this to how I used to act when trying to deceive you..”
“Yeah, maybe I am,” Ren answered, taking such a big drink of his rainbow slushie that Goro wondered, not worried, of course not, that Ren would get a brain freeze. “But you being so grumpy helps me know that it’s the real you. I’m glad we’re close enough that you can cut the bullshit and just be your miserable bitch self around me.” Goro glared at the insult, and Ren just chuckled once again. “Ahaha, no offense by that. I mean that in the most loving way.”
