He was probably losing it.
Wilderness sickness.
There were plenty old battered journals in his watchtower telling stories about how the woods were enchanted. Endless diary entrances with signs of how watchers slowly but steady went a little bit more crazy for every passing day. Yoongi had thought it was all bullshit, made-up entries by bored lookouts, but now after so many weeks, he wasn’t so sure anymore.
Or; Yoongi takes a job as firewatch in hopes of escaping his life. His only remote company for the rest of the summer is the mouthy voice in his intercom-radio talking to him every day, and maybe they need each other more than they think.

Summary
When Jimin is left at the altar he decides to go on with the after party without a wedding. He put too much money into it to cancel everything.
In the midst of his shock and heartbreak there are small joys in his friends and familys care, and even more so in the six groomsmen staying to show their support. Especially Yoongi, his now ex fiance's best man who, now that Jimin thought about it, had always been there when Jimin needed it the most.

Already feeling comfortable with Yoongi after sharing the train ride to the countryside, Jimin proposes Yoongi to be his travel buddy because even though he wants to travel incognito and without his security detail hanging around him, going to trips and trying new things every weekend sounds more wonderful with the company of Min Yoongi.
