Summary

Summary
Khaslana, a local fisherman of a small coastal town, finds himself saved from a storm by an enchanting mercreature. After their encounter, Khaslana develops an obsession with the creature he saw. His newfound desire completely consumes him, and he wishes only to capture the creature, and to butcher it.
Meanwhile, Mydei grapples with memories of the past, for the human pursuing him looks so alike to his missing mate, Phainon.

"Oh my Titans," Cipher said. She wasn't even laughing anymore, which was a sign of the coming end times, probably. "The Little Lion's actually pregnant."
"It's early, obviously," Hyacine said, her brows furrowed. "But the signs are all there. Somehow. To know for certain, we'd have to check again later."
"I'm not pregnant!" Mydei shrieked, his voice oddly high-pitched. Around the clinic, other patients turned to look at him.
Mydei took a long, deep breath. Then, stiffly, he repeated himself. "I am not pregnant."
Or, approximately four months after Amphoreus welcomes the new dawn, Mydei wakes up with an odd golden mark burned directly into his abdomen, identical to the symbol of Worldbearing.
Naturally, he does not, in fact, ask Phainon about this phenomenon. Instead, he discusses with the Trailblazer, obtains terrible advice, and goes on the worst railroad trip of his life.
