Summary
Standing near a small grave, a small boy was observing it with an indifferent expression. He was soaked to the bone, rain was not letting up any time soon. Sniffling from the cold, he turned to face an old, ran down car.
“Bastard hung himself without making this month’s payments…” an old, bearded man was behind the wheel. Wearing a tacky suit, glasses and a hat, he looked at the boy.
”Kid… I don’t care if you beg for it or whore yourself out. Have 700,000 yen ready by tomorrow, or I’ll cut your corpse into pieces and sell you.”
With a rattling sound, the car came to life and slowly drove away. The kid remained there for a while, not knowing if a minute or an hour passed.
“I don’t wanna die…” he muttered to himself.
