As the final words left Aemma's lips, a hush fell over the assembled crowd. Lucerys, moved by the innocent sincerity in his young bride's voice, leaned down slowly. His large hand came up to cup Aemma's cheek with surprising gentleness, thumb brushing away a stray tear.

Summary
