"Oh, Shen Yuan~!" she drawls, as she waltzes into the apartment. "Why aren't you answering your favorite sister's messag—" She doesn't manage to finish her sentence before her scenes are assaulted by a smell.
A disgusting, rancid, putrid smell.
It's so strong, her eyes water, and goosebumps appear on her skin. She gags in disgust and coughs as she tries to breathe with her mouth. It smells like rot and filth. She almost throws up as she feels it in her mouth.
There is something vaguely familiar about it, although she can't quite place where she could have smelled something so vile before. It doesn't really matter anyways. What does matter is the fact that she is smelling it right now.
"Shen Yuan, what the fuck?!" she screams into the apartment.
Shen Yuan hasn't been answering to her messages, so Shen Tang decides to pay him a visit

Summary
When a person turns twenty, an angel comes to meet them, promising that the heavens are looking out for each of their children. It isn't a promise that really means much in the end, but it's a promise nonetheless, and so Shen Yuan has good reason to worry when his own twentieth birthday comes and goes without a single sign of halos or soft feathered wings.
And then, only a handful of days later, a demon shows up on Shen Yuan's doorstep instead.

Summary
The Bamboo house feels cold in Shizun's memory.
Shizun stands there, at the entrance, not daring to take another step into such an unwelcoming place. It feels dark, suffocating, bleak. It feels like Shizun doesn't want to be in this place at all.
Finally, with another deep breath, Shizun steps into the house.
He almost runs through the house, to the door leading to the back garden, right to the…
Ah
That’s when this memory takes place.
Luo Binghe and Shizun both stand before the sword mound.
Shen Qingqiu is the first one to move. He slowly takes his first steps, approaching it carefully. Almost immediately he picks up the pace and rushes to the mound and drops before it to his knees, making Binghe wince.
Luo Binghe feels a little bit foolish. He has buried the memories of the Abyss so deep inside him, it simply hasn't occurred to him.
Of course. When else could this memory have been taking place if not when Luo Binghe was in the Endless Abyss?
Luo Binghe sees one day in Shen Qingqiu's life while he was waiting for his return from the Endless Abyss.

Summary
When Shen Qingqiu goes through the Black Grass Forest and gets a face full of some unknown pollen, he doesn't realize what hit him at first. He would've probably wandered around for hours, sneezing, wondering what this thing is going to do to him. Instead, despite his lack of foresight, he almost immediately realizes what happened. Because one moment he is wiping away pollen from his face. And the next moment there is a Man Eating Six Legged Panther pouncing on him. And Shen Qingqiu realizes that he feels absolutely no fear whatsoever.
Shen Qingqiu gets doused by a pollen that makes him fearless. Tired of constantly fearing for his life he tell no one. Against his better judgment he decides to go to the mission in this state.
It's just a short mission to JinLan City! What could go wrong?
It's not like the pollen has some unexpected side effects, right?

While Shen Jiu wonders for the second time in as many days if it’s possible to get away with braining his own student with a stapler, Luo Binghe lifts a bag. It’s a nondescript grocery bag, but the smell that wafts from it is incredible. Whatever is inside is both fresh and warm, possibly just made before delivery.
Shen Jiu’s eyes narrow. “Where did you get that?” he asks.
“Right outside your office, laoshi. It was just sitting there.” Luo Binghe sets it down. “Didn’t you order delivery?”
Or: It starts with the anonymous online posts. After that, it only devolves from there, and Shen Jiu has no one to turn to.

Summary
Shen Yuan feels like he has the world on his shoulders. After a little run in with time travel, he finds himself juggling teaching, hiding his disciple's heritage, orchestrating demonic jailbreaks, arranging high-level assassinations, and struggling to maintain dignity. You know, normal transmigrator things. At the end of the day, the only things he wants are a nice dinner with Binghe and maybe a nap. And chocolate. God, but he misses chocolate.
All Luo Binghe wants is to marry his A-Yuan.
Both of them have been shown a way to their own happy ending by their older counterparts. But will their knowledge pave their way forward, or just lead them down darker detours?
(aka the purely Bingqiu sequel to Can't We Just Skip to the End? Will not make sense on its own, probably.)
