NuNew's greeting was sweet and innocent, just like the kiss he brushed to Zee's cheek, but he knew better, clocking the mischievous glimmer in NuNew's eyes. It was a sparkle that he truly adored seeing in the youngers eyes, even if it usually meant he'd lose a little of his sanity in the process. Occasionally, he questioned if his health would survive having such a younger lover—other times, he could care less.
Taking a breath, Zee smiled back, letting go of some of his tension by reminding himself of the other people in the room, that he would have NuNew all to himself later, and that having patience now would be worth it.
“Hi, baby,” He whispered, brushing his hand over NuNew’s jacket sleeve. “You look pretty.”
