Summary
Iron Lung meets Project Hail Mary. After spotting the floating remnants of the Iron lung from the Hail Mary on Grace and Rocky's journey back to Erid, Grace insists on bringing it with them.
Grace gets on his space suit and goes and tethers it to the hail Mary. Rocky uses his ship to manufacture a link with the iron lung and they manage to pry open the window shield to reveal someone inside.
They manage to cut open the iron lung and get its sole passenger to med bay and have Armando stabilize him until they get to Erid.
Simon barely comes to, but just manages to make out Graces sillouette in front of a bright light, before falling unconscious and kept in a stable coma for the rest of the trip.How did the Iron Lung end up in space? How will these two Patron Saints of One Way Trips learn to cohabitate on a completely foreign world? Will Simon be able to adapt to living a more stable, civilian lifestyle? Will Simons shadows stay behind him and not destroy the life he will build for himself?
Will both of these lonely humans be able to find solace and acceptance being the only human souls on the edge of a foreign galaxy? Only time will tell.

Summary
While Rocky and Grace are on their way back to Erid to save Rocky's stars from astrophage, they come across a part of space with no stars and something else.

Summary
Two years after arriving on Erid, Dr. Ryland Grace has built a new life for himself with his Eridian family and students. Twice a year, Rocky and Grace do orbital sweeps around Erid to make sure the astrophage has died for good, just to cover all their bases. But on this trip, Grace notices something he never had before. A moon, not far off, covered in an ocean of blood.
Coming in closer, the complex Eridian instruments pick up on something below. Somehow, the ship is able to tap into a radio frequency from someone on the planet. And it sounds almost... human.
