Summary
This is my first (published) fic/fanfic to be posted. English is my second language (as many probably feels these days) but not my primary, as might become somewhat clear in my writing.
I would love for some beta's to review my story and perhaps make needed corrections if needed, which it no doubt does. Please, go gentle with me, as this is my first, as mentioned.
I'm not good with summaries for more than one reason. But here goes.Btw, I'm not quite sure when there will be an update to the story, but I'll try my best to keep at it.

A small Dankwood goblin village has an unusual visit one day from a human party of soldiers, which has been ordered to war.
They are allowed to stay while awaiting further orders and in the meantime, the human soldiers work alongside the goblins, making new unlikely acquaintanceships between both species.
One acquaintanceship develops into more and the outcome will be the start of a new era for some, and the end for other.

Summary
Humanity's global military force has been shattered for over twenty-years and errors in judgement from their Anthrostate advisories during the war continue to plunge the native species closer and closer to extinction. Cut off from their own establishment, such mistakes may have possibly led to their own extinction on planet Earth, as well. Both factions can see it clear as day. While a small State base in Northwestern Wyoming sees the insurgency finally begin to close the door on fighting: thanks to the second-generation's leadership.
