“I’ll figure you out,” Ted trembles, “even if everyone trusts you for no reason, even if no one believes me yet. There is something fundamentally wrong with you. I know it. I will uncover it for everyone to see.”
The supposed man grins, “oh hero of humanity, what sharp words you have.” He places a hand on Ted’s shoulder and squeezes. Ted tries not to flinch. “I’m sure it’ll be a fine good effort on your part, eh Teddy?”
Ted shoves the shorter man away. There’s just something about the way he says his name. It pricks at his brain like a deadly wasp.
Or, Ted realizes he’s bisexual in the absolute worst way possible while being our lovable paranoid asshole. Also humanity got rebooted, yay!

For some, corruption comes almost naturally. For others, it’s a near impossible path. Yet the path is there, constantly beckoning, inviting. It hungers strongest for the ones its path is most narrow. Summary
One mistake causes irreparable damage.
Harry Potter, Fourth Triwizard Champion, falls in the first task. He is injured past the point of survivability but for some reason he simply cannot die. Harry is taken to St. Mungo's where he's subjected to painful and humiliating experimental healing techniques. Robbed of his voice, he wishes for nothing but to be put out of his misery.
Meanwhile, despite the sorry state of his fated enemy, Lord Voldemort wants Harry Potter for his resurrection ritual. Whatever power tethers the boy to life-Voldemort must possess it. Harry, helpless and trapped in his body, is entirely at the mercy of his nemesis.
And Lord Voldemort, who never backs down from a challenge, becomes obsessed with solving the problem of Harry Potter once and for all. He will do the impossible-not destroy the boy, no, but remake him.
