Summary: On a trip to Japan, a girl from our world ends up in the world of Death Note. Minding her own business, she nevertheless finds herself in the wrong place and time. Both her and L could have done well enough without meeting the other, but perhaps this was what they needed. Eventual L x OC, more psychological than fluffy. Both have some issues to work through (but isn't that part of being human?).
This is an attempt at a practical, realistic OC from our world and evidence-based DN characterisation as much as is possible.
[OC meets L only in Chapter 4 and starts interacting with him for reals in Chapter 6.]

Summary
A seraph befriends Crowley at the beginning. In her opinion, it was alright, though unheard of, for angels and demons to be friends. Anything more between them, however, was certainly out of the question. Illegal. Punishable by annihilation, she was sure, despite the way their feelings for each other seemed to grow stronger and stronger with every passing decade. At the same time, she, along with Aziraphale and Crowley, had gotten too comfortable in the human world. Comfortable enough to go against their respective factions and thwart the coming of the Apocalypse. Or try to, at least. Oh, boy, have they got their plates full.
This is a self-indulgent fic that attempts to expand on the world in Good Omens, since the TV series doesn't touch very much on details like the different angel ranks of Power, Seraph, Principality etc, which I will capitalise on. It's a Crowley x OC, because there aren't enough of them imo.
