Summary
Agartha has won. For nearly twenty years it controls Fodlan from the shadows, in the guise of the major leaders of the victorious Holy Kingdom of Faerghus. Their latest prodigy and weapon, Maria Eisner, is the child of Byleth and a powerful Agarthan sorceress. As such she inherits the Crest of Flames and is taught everything about this entails.
Including what to do if Sothis were to ever resurface.
However circumstances force her to reconsider her role in Agartha's and Fodlan's future, when she's forced to decide between her dearest friends and her family.
Meanwhile, some in Foldan's upper circle, such as Marianne, have been desperately seeking a way to dislodge Agartha's shackles, and plot in secret as they hold onto what they know is real.
One more plots to take the fight to Agartha, the last child of Sothis. She won't stop until those that destroyed her friends' lives lay in ruin.
