Gojo’s fingers hover over the screen for a long time. The message is always the same. A location. A time. No questions. No explanations. And the last few times…No reply. But tonight he types it anyway.
Room 403. Aman Tokyo. Tomorrow. 11pm. Please.
He stares at the screen, the blinking cursor below his message. Then he adds one more word.
Yours.
He hits send. Then locks the phone and presses it to his forehead sighing. He doesn’t expect a reply. But he leaves the room booked anyway.
The next night. The hotel is quiet. The room is lavish. Gojo’s already there. Showered. Changed. He hasn’t sat down, he just stands at the window, staring out. He’s tired. Not from battle. Not from teaching. From waiting.
The clock ticks past 11:03.
Then 11:07.
And just as he turns away…
The lock clicks. His breath catches.
The door opens slowly, quietly. Like the person behind it doesn’t want to be seen.
