Morres estaba tan cansado, todo lo que quería hacer era cerrar los ojos y no darle a importancia a su herida sangrante, esta se volvió más grave con el tiempo, pero que podía hacer? no tenía a Red a su lado como para cauterizar la herida, ni si quiera sabía que le paso y si estaba bien.
No había agua cerca como para desinfectar la herida, pero aun que hubiera agua cerca, no podía moverse,sentía el cuerpo pesado como si fuera un algodón humedo de alcohol.
Sintió que se le resbalaban lágrimas por las mejillas, no había nadie a quien pudiera llamar, y ni si quiera estaba cerca de algún pueblo como para recibir ayuda.
¿iba a morir solo? su visión se fragmentaba, Morres en su último intento de seguir con vida, parpadea bruscamente intentando quitar la nieval de sus ojos, comenzó a incorporarse para terminar fallando por el dolor extremo.

How could Morres get out of this situation?
Morres was so tired. All he wanted to do was close his eyes and ignore his bleeding wound.
It worsened over time, but what could he do? Red wasn't there to cauterize it, and he didn't even know what had happened to him or if he was alright.
There was no water nearby to disinfect the wound, but even if there had been, he couldn't move.
His body felt heavy, like a cotton ball soaked in alcohol. He felt tears streaming down his cheeks.
There was no one he could call, and he wasn't even close to a town to get help.
Was he going to die alone?
His vision was blurring. In his last attempt to stay alive, Morres blinked sharply, trying to clear the fog from his eyes.
He started to sit up, but collapsed from the excruciating pain.
"Agh!"
he cried weakly, unable to stifle his screams and sobs.Perhaps if he had listened more closely, he would have heard the approaching barks and restless footsteps.
Morres just wanted to go home and find refuge in his father's arms.

“You’re thinking so hard I can hear the gears moving,” Caelus murmurs, glancing up at Dan Heng, who blinks a few times before his eyes refocus and he looks down at Caelus. “Credit for your thoughts?”
Dan Heng’s absent hum in return is nice, reminiscent of the way his chest sometimes rumbles with a purr; something that’s not very common, and something that hasn’t happened once on Amphoreus. Not like Caelus can blame him, this place doesn’t feel very safe at all, unstable down to the core even if he can’t sense a stellaron here. Caelus’s eyes close partway when Dan Heng presses a kiss against his forehead, a smile twitching over his lips at the casual affection before it falls again.
“On the Xianzhou,” Dan Heng begins, and Caelus notes how, oddly, a spark of anger doesn’t drift between his ribcage the same way it always has when hearing the name. Something is very, very out of sorts. “Did anyone tell you about jade pendants?”
