In the dead of night, A mother runs holding her newborn child, wailing and innocent. Her hands come away sticky, and red. Simply by giving her son life, she has already killed him. He was doomed from the beginning, her love will not save him from suffering, for the thing cradled in her arms is not a baby, it is a sacrifice, destined to be slaughtered like by her people in a desperate attempt to appease a tyrant god, and with this realization she decides she must show this child morbid mercy.
