Liam’s therapist asks Liam to write down every time he feels his anger building up before it explodes for a week. After a week he shows Theo the book and every page is full, not because Liam exploded, but because he’s fighting the urge dozens of times a day and nobody notices. Only then does Theo realise how exhausting it is for Liam to simply exist.

Theo didn’t answer, he didn’t look at him, it was as if he wasn’t even there. He just stared into the void.
Liam began to disinfect the wound, running some cotton over the cut skin, noting with some horror the clear marks of his fangs.
“It's useless” Theo muttered at that point, heartbroken.
“Theo-”
“It’s poisonous,” the vampire spat out, shaking his head, “the problem isn’t the wound.”
“Poisonous?” Liam asked, his eyes widening.
“Yes” Theo nodded, “yes, Liam, God, have you ever read a book?” he then asked exasperatedly, running his hand over his wound again “a werewolf bite is poisonous to a vampire. I’m a vampire. You’re a werewolf. You bit me.”
