“Quite impressive. Wouldn’t you say, Sam?” Orpheus hummed into his drink of choice. The words sent vibrations down into the liquid, ripples cascading across the finest of aged wines. With it, he sent a glance toward his companion—a colleague, of whom one could mistake for someone in a hostage scenario, given how blatant his distaste.
“I find impressive the lengths you go to slack off, Mr. Orpheus.” He scoffed, hands buried and jutting out of the pockets of his lab coat sloppily. “There’s work to be done, important work. I cannot fathom what’s so dire that you drag me to this- this basement.”
“It’s not a basement, Sam. Don’t be crude.” Orpheus chastised lightly, the verbal slapping of the hand. “Come on. Where else could you get views like this?” He brought his drink to a swirl with a few masterful twists of the wrist, a whirlpool forming in the center. “Certainly not stuck up in our lab.”

“So take me,” he whispered, his body arching slightly, offering himself. “Bite me.”
A full shudder travelled down Eddie’s body at those single two words from Buck, his control wavering at the anticipation of it all.
Leaning forward, Eddie kissed Buck’s neck first, soft, lingering, letting his lips trace the warmth of his skin, drawing out the moment.
Eddie grazed his teeth along the ridges of it, biting down- harder than he did before, careful not to break skin but enough to make Buck gasp, his body arching against Eddie’s. The sound went straight to Eddie’s core, and he pulled back just enough to see Buck’s face-flushed, eyes dark, lips parted.
“You’re so beautiful like this.” Eddie whispered, Buck’s breathing uneven, submitting to him so easily.
Eddie moved back to assault his neck, harder. He bit again, a little harder, but it didn’t take much pressure. A faint prick of blood welled up, a tiny bead, but enough to make Eddie’s head spin. He licked it, tentative, the taste sent a jolt through him, dark and electric. Buck moaned, low and raw, fingers digging into Eddie’s back.
“Fuck, Eddie,” Buck breathed. “That’s… so hot.”
