    Summary

This is living, the Outsider thinks, while splashing water on his face to wake up. This is living – while digging a sliver of glass out of the sole of his foot. He shouldn’t have taken his boots off the night before. The little wound aches all morning on his walk to procure more fruit, so he uses most of the coin Billie left him that day to buy a pot of salve that claims to be ‘Thoroughly Proven To Eradicate All Manners Of Infection And Promote Speedy Healing!’ in bold print on the packaging. This, too, is living. And this, as the day drags on. And this.

A long, slow, sometimes painful, sometimes sexy exploration of the Outsider coming to terms with his humanity, following DotO. Corvo does show up eventually, I promise!

Now you have to navigate the everydaylife of being a somewhat normal person, while lying low because there's a whole Religion of people hating you. Summary

It started the way you fall asleep: slowly, then all at once. There wasn’t a single moment of realization for Katsuki Bakugou, no specific point on his mind’s map that he could point to and say, “There! That’s when it happened.” As with all people, he was constantly developing, feelings coming and going, some fading into obscurity, others growing into a deafening crescendo that took over his thoughts, kept him up at night, spread a particularly spectacular brand of ache through him. Slowly, then all at once.

    Bookmarker's Notes

A deepdive into the Character of Bakugou Katsuki, and an endearing slowburn between him and Kirishima. Before reading this, I was neutral to compassionate towards Katsuki, but now I really like him. The author also lived in Japan for quite a while, it feels very immersive and authentic. And tons of fluff, but the right amount of deepness and difficult stuff. Love it. People, if you really want to feel MHA, read this.
