    Tim’s spleen wasn't the only thing he had lost in the desert that night.

    The Widower left him with an injury that had forever altered his life, but Tim had adjusted. He was fine, great even. His only worry was how his family would react when he eventually found Bruce and went back to Gotham.

    But to his surprise (and relief), they never even mentioned it. They carried on as if everything was normal, and that's what Tim had wanted. At least, he thought it was.

    Until an incident in the field reveals a secret Tim didn't even know was a secret, and now he is forced to deal with all the emotional blowback he thought he had avoided.

    Or,

    Tim loses a leg in the desert. He really thought his family had noticed.

    Percy hadn't run away from home, despite what Annabeth might imply sometimes. His mortal uncle, who had taken him in at the age of eight, was just better off thinking Percy had died in that explosion. At least that had been Percy's justification until after all the quests were done and he saw the news: Jason Todd Wayne Alive!

    Jason, who Percy had traveled to the underworld to save with the words of the first prophecy he heard echoing in his ears, was alive. Hades had kept his end of a bargain he never verbally agreed to. But how had Percy failed to save Jason? What horrors had Jason faced that Percy could have prevented?

    After everything, Percy was finally returning home.

    When he learns that his mother was only stuck with his step father because of Percy, he decides to go with the magicians so that they might both be safe, even if they were a world apart.
    The fates only knew what consequences this would bring.

    I love this fic so much and I was devastated when I got to chapter five because it's a cliffhanger 😭 I can't wait for the next chapter. I think this might be my favorite batman fic now, this is amazing.
    --Chapter 6 is a cliffhanger too, but it's just as beautiful, and I'm blessed to have another chapter to reread.

    Worth a re-read. Badass stiles, hurt/comfort. The pack isolates stiles after the events of the alpha pack, so he leaves beacon hills and becomes a magical mercenary basically. Then he returns seven years later and there's a whole redemption arc where they earn his forgiveness.
