"Any particular reason you've brought out this form, Dan Heng?"
Dan Heng resists the urge to hug himself, instead keeping his arms firmly planted by his sides. He already feels a bit bare without the extra armor and accessories that usually adorn his person when he takes on the form of Permansor Terrae; something about donning this form outside of battle leaves him feeling a bit vulnerable. Although he is fully clothed in a high-neck black t-shirt and slacks, the way Blade’s golden eyes rake across his body makes him feel as if he is sitting on the mattress without anything on.

I mean, the Stellaron Hunter is a wanted criminal who broke out of prison, for Lan’s sake!”
A small smile spreads across Luocha’s face. “Oh, you know how people are. They’re often fascinated by the forbidden, and criminals in particular are popular.”
The look Luocha gives Dan Heng is a bit too knowing. “And those on the run tend to be especially sought after. Wouldn’t you agree, Dan Heng?”

Meanwhile, Blade is studying every twitch of his fingers, each time his eyes flit to him and lose themselves back inside the room. He watches a man run so many unsaid thoughts at once he reminds him of a fuming kettle. The Imbibitor Lunae he knows wouldn't be so indecisive, so sheepish. But Dan Feng has changed, hasn't he?
He uncrossed his arms and stepped forward, "Dan Heng," it's not venom what drips from his mouth when he says his name, though it's nothing less dangerous, "What do you want?"
Or: Dan Heng and Blade want to fuck but they don't know how to make it happen. Somehow, they make it happen.

In truth, Dan Heng does not remember much beyond the past few months, and even recent events require monumental effort to maintain in the warped archives of his mind.
One of his earliest memories is with his physician, a young woman with dark hair, and red hands kept underneath red gloves. A Vidyadhara in hiding, like himself.
"I propose a living arrangement with another patient," she says.
