Alastor’s gaze ripped from you at last. He shifted on the bed, and a muffled sound floated through the quiet. A whimper straining to escape from being locked behind tightly closed lips. Static flared around him in an attempt to hide it, but you had heard.
The sound made you dizzy.
“I’m asking… for you to help me.”

Summary
“Wings out.”
Lucifer quirks an eyebrow, but does not challenge the demand. His wings don’t so much emerge as appear, shifting into existence behind him like a mirage simmering in the latent summer heat. They lack the fanfare due their beauty, but the sounds of the feathers sifting over each other as they unfold hold that same otherworldly note as Lucifer’s voice: like whispering voices in the next room: you know that something is being spoken, conveyed with agency, but the words are just out of reach.
Alastor maneuvers Lucifer to turn his back to him and fold cross-legged down on the tile. The fallen angel leans forward without having to be asked, and the first touch of Alastor’s claws to the juncture of skin and feather makes Lucifer take a deep, steady breath.

Summary
Goro woke in slow blinks, half-dazed from the heat of the blanket cocoon of their sheets and Akira snug under him: cinnamon, coffee, cardamom; something warm and intangible and home. His husband glowed, milky in the dawn light and Goro traced his swollen lips with a thumb. Akira was purring in his sleep, the vibrations low and soothing, spilling from his chest.
Goro is determined to convince Akira to take an impromptu day off work so they can relax together.
