Summary
NEW TITLE: Originally called Long Way Between the Crack and the Break, sequel to Unnaturally Lucky.
Renamed when I found a better idea tying into the first arc and I loved the title of the first arc.
Twilight is figuring out what it means now that he has decided to do his best by Anya, including staying together as a family, even becoming a real one.
He has no idea how to do that, what it will look, what it will mean for the mission, or how Yor fits into...everything, especially since he still has his secrets-and she has hers, allegedly.
Still, he doesn't doubt or regret recent events and that is an improvement upon the delusion he had to maintain to continue acting like he wasn't completely compromised.
He fell apart then, completely. He's building himself into something new, for Anya, and he's aware that he wouldn't, couldn't be doing it without Yor. But what is best for Yor?
Unfortunately, (and unknown to Twilight) Yor is starting to fall apart. Maybe. She's not sure. It's unlike her. But, she isn't totally sure where she fits into the family either-especially after she learns a secret she wasn't particularly interested in learning yet.

Summary
After realizing that Anya has been hurt in the past, Twilight has admitted to Anya that he loves her and wants to be a good father. He admitted this, not just to Anya, but to himself, and to Yor.
He wants something else with Yor, but hasn't quite admitted that. Isn't sure if he should.
He's not totally sure what any of this means or what the future will look like. He is still not comfortable with this uncertainty.
Right now, the bigger issue is discovering exactly what happened in Anya's past, and making sure it won't happen again or hold any further risk to her.
Following a lead, he explores ruins of a Project Apple lab with a former employee.
Things get more complicated, though he won't quite realize how complicated, until much, much later.

Summary
Sick of the slow burn with Spy x Family? What about a slow burn with charges set along the way?
Twilight has made steady progress with Operation STRIX, but it's not without its complications. The biggest complications are the two civilians (or so he thinks) that he's had to utilize to achieve the mission's goals.
Anya and Yor are just so lovely. Even Bond is lovely.
But they're not without their own secrets.
As Twilight realizes mistakes may have been made, secrets begin to be uncovered--and the mistakes don't seem to matter as much as their result:
Twilight wants something real and he wants it with his fake family.They seem to want something real too. And, worst (best?) of all, Anya and Yor seem to think he's capable of it. They make him feel like he might be.
But, can he protect them from his work? Is he actually capable?
Most importantly, can he protect them all from their own pasts and secrets?

Summary
