Part 2 does amazingly in illustrating physical changes to compensate for their growing power. How the uncertainty of it becomes confirmed by the end. Vivid imagery.

Freminet is hired by Wriothesley, the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide, to help with some underwater maintenance. As he spends two weeks in the fortress working side-by-side with his former prison warden, an unlikely friendship begins to develop. (and maybe something more might bloom along the way)
God, this is cheesy as hell. But yes, this is a slow burn falling in love story. They don't really interact in canon so I have to step in (ough), and I get carried away. Basically they really like each other's company and maybe kiss and hold hands (and later, smash).

Endless possibilities for this development.Update: Chapter 2:
Wriothesley and Freminet's initial interaction is superb. Freminet's a bit uncertain, but undeterred in this decision towards a new venture, especially for something that puts him in his element. There's a clear interest between the two, curious observation.
How will their connection grow?These descriptions have a chokehold on me. Read it if you haven't yet, I implore you to.

My oh my, certainly the cutest thing!
Diluc's mixed, yet to consider feelings about Kaeya have got him carefully considering his actions in this surprising predicament. Handled it like a champ.
Kaeya's sweet recounting on their relationship certainly adds a sentimental layer this one has kept to himself, but alas it is out in the open and free!
I do hope it's a blossoming love that reaches each other in kind.
