Adam is stuck in hell surviving the war on pure spite, mammon goes to pride so he can see if he can gain something. Mammon finds the angel, sticks him in a birdcage happy to have a new pet. Lucifer meets the now captive angel, and tries to fix their ruined relationship for his daughter, maybe he'll help the angel escape their captivity. Adam just wants to return to heaven.

War takes a lot from a person, but what happens when a war just doesn’t stop? What’s left to take after 4 thousand years? Do you even resemble the mech you started as? Starscream, the most loyal and bravest of the seekers, now reduced to a traitorous coward. Thundercracker, loyal to the cause, looking for a way out. Skywarp’s jovial nature turned to cruelty. Soundwave’s devoted love of his minicons overshadowed by his loyalty to Megatron. Shockwave’s interest in science unchained of morals he once had.
TLDR: See the 3 commanders of the Decepticons before the war and how it changed them into the monsters we all know.

It was just. Too coincidental for Starscream not to be suspicious. Megatron announces his plans for an inter-faction tournament, an idea, he claims, came to him only after hearing the Construction's reports on the renovation of the Pits a few days prior. One that definitely had nothing to do with a certain argument he had with Starscream that happened the previous day.
Right. Sure.
But Starscream could overlook all of that - albeit with a healthy dose of skepticism and doubt - if it weren’t for the victor’s reward.
Or,
On a Decepticon-ruled Cybertron, Megatron decides to host faction-wide tournament with a rather heavy-stakes prize on the line. Starscream is not too keen on this idea for several reasons.

Starscream’s optics flick up, sharp and piercing, scanning the room for the first time.
They land on Jazz.
Jazz keeps his posture rigid, blank, obedient. He’s been under Optimus Prime’s gaze, under Prowl's, under far more respectable mechs than Starscream; he knows how to hold steady under scrutiny.
Starscream’s stare is… Different.
Calculating. Predatory. Uncomfortably sharp, like a dagger pressed under his chin.
“You.” Starscream says, pointing with the mug. “New.”
Jazz snaps a salute a half-klik faster than regulation.
“Yes, sir. Adagio, sir.”
“I didn’t ask.” Starscream sneers.

Starscream hated Soundwave. Of course he did! But when that blasted tape recorder had the GALL to say he didn’t like STARSCREAM- well, Starscream will show him! He’s a great flyer! A great commander! And he can even take care of the most delicate things, like these stupid organic flowers that Soundwave CHALLENGED him with. Pssht! Soundwave doesn’t stand a chance to Starscream’s greatness!

Soundwave tries to quell rumors of him dating Starscream by publically rejecting the SIC. Starscream tries to prove how great he is to Soundwave, since NO ONE can reject Starscream (even if he has no idea what any of this is about). Soundwave believes that Starscream is up to no good, and tries to throw Starscream off guard with reccomendations from his cassettes.
Everyone thinks the two are just having trouble in paradise
