If he was being honest, none of this was supposed to happen. He was supposed to be at home, sprawled across the couch in the Fushiguro apartment, dozing away without a care in the world.
He wasn’t supposed to be curled up in an alleyway being rained on, shivering in below-freezing weather and only wearing a t-shirt, mud-covered sweatpants, and old sneakers.
Yet, here he was.

Though, she’d be lying if she said she didn’t enjoy the fits of despair from both of them. Suguru acting like a tiny scrape would bring the infallible Satoru to his knees, cripple the man forever, leave him a shell of his former being, was incredibly amusing to her.
