Summary
Whim was an acquiescent woman that died with a dead-end job, forced out of her eternal rest by a forbidden ritual gone wrong. Her new life comes at a steep price, as she must share her brand-new patched-together body with a merciless, condescending sorcerer named Deign. Being a lich, Whim and Deign's very existence is considered to be a threat to all life, and they must learn to survive in a world that wants them dead; or worse, learn to live in it.
Simply put, it's an isekai where the main character is denied rights and dignity in the eyes of the world at large, forced into a situation where their easily-given selflessness warrants a discovery of self.
