Summary
“What is that?”
“A tomato.”
“…I can see that.”
Up close, Mihawk somehow always seemed a little smaller than Crocodile remembered, despite being a formidable man in his own right. The oversized hat cast part of his face into shadow, his shoulders were dusted with soil, and a loose strand of dark hair had escaped to rest against his cheek without him appearing remotely aware of it.
Ridiculous.
Entirely ridiculous.
Crocodile had fought admirals without his pulse behaving strangely
Stop being so fucking cute.
Mihawk held the tomato out toward him. “For you.”
Crocodile blinked. “For me?”
A small nod.
A one shot in which Mihawk gives Crocodile a tomato, and Crocodile pretends he’s not in love.

Summary
“Why did you stop making eye contact with me?”
The question landed in the office of the Cross Guild with all the elegance of a brick through a glass window.
Crocodile hadn’t planned on saying it.
He hadn’t even realised he was going to until the words were already halfway across the room.
Mihawk paused in front of his desk.
One hand still rested on the stack of folders he’d just delivered, fingertips lingering against the cardboard as though he needed confirmation that they’d actually left his grip.
The office fell silent except for the distant hum of the building’s ventilation and the quiet crackle of Crocodile’s cigar burning in the ashtray.
Mihawk blinked once.
“…What?”
A one shot in which Crocodile starts to notice Mihawk recently started avoiding eye contact with him and pretends he’s not concerned.
