The two of them would play their parts when there were eyes around, friends to cater towards. But when the night lingered, when substance and exhaustion caught up to them, Nicholas would feel that familiar, irresistible pull to Euijoo like they were magnets on an open board.

    Euijoo put up with all his shit, all the degrading comments, all the nasty sideglances, because he knew what waited for him when the doors closed.

    And then, somewhere around the fifth, sixth time, they stopped pretending it was only a matter of coincidence.
