The first thing Utahime noticed was how he always left their Tuesday and Friday afternoon classes at three o’clock sharp and not one minute later.
She did not think much of it; only that Japanese literature maybe wasn’t his thing and in which case, he would probably end up dropping the class before they had to write their first essay.
That first essay came and went though and Gojo Satoru still showed up to their Japanese lit classes, submitting his assignments on time, getting even better grades than Utahime herself and she was not missing any of those classes.
He still left at three o’clock every time but Utahime never inquired. No matter how much she wanted to.

“I am dead,” he said. “What’s wrong?”
Jinx pulled away. He let her go.
“You’re not, though. You’re very much alive and the Titans are still looking for you.”
Wally shook his head. “They haven’t made contact. You’re safe.”
Jinx crossed the room to the twin bed that was pushed into the corner and sat down on it. It was firm like rock and not very warm, she remembered. Wally stood in the middle of the room, illuminated by the single lamp on the nightstand to her right.
