Summary
A scientifically impossible illness is sweeping the grid — ARS, as they’ve dubbed it — which reverts a driver to the most traumatic day of their life, a long with a shit ton of ailments beforehand.
The grid has spent months dealing with and researching ARS and doing everything in their power (which is admittedly, not much) to keep the knowledge of it from spreading to their teams or the media.
It’s affected five drivers already, but one week it just… doesn’t. No new symptoms are reported by anyone on the grid, nobody seems off, nothing. But while most drivers take that as a sign it may be going away, Lewis knows something’s wrong.
Meanwhile, Max is doing everything he can to pretend he isn’t facing the worst sickness of his life, all the while navigating his second season in F1, a new team, and the sports worst championship battle in years.

Summary
Max set to work tending to his wounds, leaving Oscar to scrutinize the map. It was a grim sight; nearly the entire parchment was scarred with heavy, dark ‘X’ marks. Every mark was a graveyard—a place Max had scouted and confirmed to be hollowed out, devoid of any human soul. One mark, larger than the rest, sat right over their current location.
Only one region remained untouched by the ink: a vast, sprawling forest that occupied nearly a third of the map. It was a place Max had never ventured into. Max had long ago abandoned any hope of finding survivors, and Oscar knew that Max’s only instinct for living was to keep moving. The forest wasn’t far from their current sanctuary, but a range of massive, jagged hills stood between them and the treeline, acting as a natural, daunting border. Even with their shared strength, traversing those hills would be an arduous climb.or a Formula one apocalypse au where Max Verstappen and Oscar Piastri only have each other. Can they survive the world of dead alone? or maybe they arent alone after all.

Summary
After being rejected by the grid pack when he first joined Formula 1 as a teenager, Max swore never to involve himself with the other drivers — especially after presenting as an omega and being forced to hide it.
However, things are about to change this year. After all, not even Max is capable of resisting the pups, especially when they all start chasing after him.

Summary
In 2015, when Max first joined F1 as a fresh-faced rookie, the pack shut him out because of the wrongness and temperament that existed on him like a second skin. In 2025, Max has mellowed out and the pack, specifically the rookies, begin coming to him. Whether they are tired, angry, hurting, or unsure, Max never says no. He doesn’t weigh the risks of involving himself with a pack that doesn't claim him; he only registers that someone needs something, and that he knows how to give.
Layered on that, Max has a secret that the pack doesn’t know nor understand but they begin to circle it. It lives in the way he goes still when certain voices drop, in how his eyes glaze when someone gets too close, in how he never asks for anything and how every so often he'll disappear and return as a ghost.
OR: The 2025 rookies get attached to Max very quickly, pulling him into grid pack dynamics. Unfortunately, Max was cut from the pack in 2015 by Lewis and he still doesn't accept him. Now that Max is getting closer again, the grid is starting to notice something is very wrong with him.
