"Will you let me help you, then?" Dark green eyes were fixated on his. "It makes me very upset when you don't want my help. It's like I'm not good enough or something." Once again, his eyes were watering, and Yuuji couldn't bear the sight.
"Don't say that!" He was almost as hurt as Megumi was pretending to be, his chest tight with regret. "P-please— help me." He was close to tears, and really, really embarrassed, and he just didn't want his friend to feel bad about himself.
"Is that what you want? You're not just saying that to make me feel better?" He was leaning back down, to whisper on Yuuji's ear, using his free hand to support himself. "I'm just trying to be a good friend to you, isn't that right? Friends should help each other, and I really, really want to help you, Yuuji." He let go of Yuuji's hand, taking his now free hand, to grab his jaw.
"I do, I want— I need your help. Please." He was looking up at Megumi, just saying the words he thought he wanted to hear.
"Open your mouth." He commanded, and Yuuji obeyed.

Summary
Sukuna isn’t sure how long this kid’ll stay, if he’ll adapt, if this was a stupid decision or not.
A month passes and he’s still not sure.
He is sure by now that Yuuji is not like anyone he’s ever met before. It took a few weeks for him to open up, still reeling with his grandfather dying and his village abandoning him, but now he’s bloomed.
He runs around the Malevolent Shrine like it’s his own home. He eats every meal with Sukuna, digs around for bugs in the gardens, periodically brings a smile to Uraume’s face at his hide and seek antics. He’s been breathing life into the death trap Sukuna has fostered for millenia.
He finds he doesn’t mind it much.
Or which, Sukuna takes in kid Yuuji, watches him grow up, then realizes he means a lot more to him than intended.

Summary
Sukuna remembers Yuuji, but Yuuji doesn't remember him.
The tyrant has had an eye on him for a long time, has subtly molded the pup to grow up to become his perfect wife. His gaze on the pup is as sharp as a hawk, and yet Yuuji never seems to notice him.
Yuuji only realizes the reality of the situation when he presents as an omega at 13 and is being drowned in oils and perfumes to prepare himself for his future husband the next day. He should be happy, he should be grateful that great lord Sukuna chose a teenage bride like him. He will save his village, repopulate his village, help the lord relieve his alphan instincts but he can't help but shake as he walks down the marriage stadium.
