Summary
Chris and Peter return to Beacon Hills to find Stiles sleeping in Peter's loft. They're distressed to realise just how poorly he's been doing in their absence, feverish, emaciated, and an infected bite on his shoulder. While they hadn't planned to take him away until after he graduated, their plans change when they realise this town is eating him alive. They just have to get him to agree to leave before it swallows him whole.
Stiles is confused about why they care, but too exhausted and weary to put up a real fight.

The pack sits at the long harvest table inside the loft. There are books spread out on top of printed out sheets of paper from the last meeting, only days prior. They’re all quiet, sombre. Long gone are the days of teasing and banter; there are no jokes or laughter anymore.
Peter keeps his distance from them, sitting on the spiral staircase. He’d prefer to have as little to do with Scott McCall and his little band of misfits as possible, but for this cause, they are united. Today marks four months. Four months that Stiles Stilinski has been missing.

So integral to this artistic show, music connects these pieces, too. Each is keyed to something by a Russian composer. It's such an intense, rich musical heritage, you may make some of the same character connections I did.

Scooting closer, their thighs now touching, Lance lowered his voice, “Hey... talk to me. What’s going on in that little mullet-y brain of yours...?” He murmured, running a hand over Keith’s knuckle.
Keith looked down at their hands, feeling the warmth but his own body felt so cold. He wishes he knew what was wrong... “I don’t know...” Is what he settled on, because he didn’t. It felt like tainted longing that made him want to vomit after.
