"You're nothing"—she panted—"without the blight." The suffocation ceased, then. Rook took in gasps of air while the All-Father watched.
"Am I but an illusion?" he asked again. When Rook made no move to answer, he seized an arm of hers and placed her hand upon his chest.

,,I was looking for you, my little bird," Elgar'nan almost chirped. But didn't miss the deep, menacing undertone in it.
Doubts immediately popped into his head. “It wasn't my intention to hide from you,” Zalan tried to explain in a firm voice. His stance was firm, confident and unwavering ... “And yet I had to look for you, my little bird.” The humming grew louder and Elgar'nan's eyelids narrowed. But the grin remained. Zalan's posture, however, collapsed faster than he could or wanted to admit. He wanted to prove to himself that he could resist, that he had enough willpower to hold out. But it was hard, really hard.

Summary
All Freya Lavellan wanted was to study the Temple of Sacred Ashes in quiet solitude, but after a run in with the Templars, she wakes up in a strange cell with a powerful glowing mark spreading up her arm. Everyone believes she caused the blast at the Conclave that killed the Divine. She's just an ordinary researcher from Kirkwall; specialising in Ancient Elvhen history and culture. Why would she commit such horrific acts? She's not close to powerful enough to rupture a hole of that magnitude in the Veil. Now with the entire Chantry against her she has no choice but to help mend the Breach.
So Freya reluctantly sets off with a small party to save Thedas from being overwhelmed by Demons. Navigating complex Chantry politics, a world that wants to turn her into a religious symbol and schemes by an unknown adversary, it appears as if she's slowly losing her sanity. The fade expert Solas seems determined to infuriate her at every turn. Asking questions about her past which even her closest friend Varric knows little of. But the Dreadwolf is on the hunt. He can smell deception from a mile off. When the truth comes out it threatens to shake the established foundations of Thedas.

Summary
"A fragment of a god's essence is a powerful thing."
The final battle against Elgar'nan ends in catastrophic failure but before death can claim Rook for itself, another presence comes to her aid. The fragment of Mythal that she still carries with her offers one last option to fix this mess: go back in time with her and stop Elgar'nan and the others from using the Blight in the first place.
Now Rook will have to play her part as a seer in this dangerous game, guided by the goddess now attached to her. But convincing the gods of the folly of their plans is a monumental task, especially with a leader like Elgar'nan, whose arrogance knows no bounds.
