Jax makes a choice that will change his and everyone in the circus' lives forever. All starting from within Ribbit's room where he comes to terms who he really his, his feelings for Ribbit, and finding true connection. And what follows is a series of events leading up to when Pomni arrives at the circus and after the fact. This explores how people treat and see Jax differently than in canon if he didn't self-sabotage.

Summary
Here's a collection of short stories for Stanuary over on tumblr. Taking place in aus, mostly, such as the 'Lost and Gained' and 'Mystery Dungeon' ones I've been working on. For this first chapter, it takes place in the Mystery Dungeon AU where everyone is a pokemon. Stan and Ford are Alolan and Kantoian Meowth's respectively and their parents Filbrick and Caryn are a Perserker and Kantoian Persian, and Shermie is a Perserker. How I interpret it as what kind of pokemon they are is determined by genetics and not by game mechanics. Depending on a pokemon's ancestry can determine what pokemon will be born. Other characters such as my ocs Andrea Pereira and Lucina Evergreen are here, too, and they are an Eevee and Shiny Kanotian Vulpixen respectively. Hope this explains things and enjoy this for Week One of Stanuary and onwards!

Summary
Bonnie McGucket has a normal life, all things considered.
She is a normal twelve year old girl, living in a normal small town in Oregon. She helps out at her dad’s bait shop after school, and she visits her Peepaw at the dump when she gets the time. On his quiet days, they’ll sneak past her dad and steal the boat to go fishing, or play catch.
Bonnie has friends. She recently befriended two people in her tap dance class, Gideon Gleeful and Pacifica Northwest. They want to spend time with her, even though she’s been a bit gloomy due to a personal loss.
Bonnie’s mom used to work at The Mystery Shack, until she couldn’t anymore. Bonnie still visits every now and then, but it’s not the same without mom. Now that there’s some new visitors staying at the Shack for the summer, maybe this will be the kind of change she can use to heal? Will she be able to reconnect with the Pines family? Or will it just be another boring summer?
