It starts off so quietly that Pat doesn’t even realize he’s been hearing the crying outside his window until he hears his name blow in on the wind. “Pat!” A voice calls out, first quietly and then louder. “Pat!” Desperation drips off his name and he’s pretty sure he recognizes the voice but he’s never heard it sound like that before.
The voice keeps calling out for him as Pat scrambles off his bed, throwing his manga aside in a wild flutter of pages, and hurrying to his window.
“Please, Pat, please!” Pran chokes out, tears in his voice.
Or
Pat wakes Pran up from what he's sure was a nightmare and he's determined to make Pran tell him all about it.

Pran runs through the forest, bushes whipping at his arms and legs. He's not entirely sure what's chasing him but he can hear it crashing through the trees, getting closer with each passing moment. Summary
Mama told Kinn about the Pull when he was little, weaving a tale of romance and destiny and putting a sparkle in his eye for the mystical shot at meeting someone perfect for him. Summary
Pat is single, 30, and on the brink of a new collaborative project at work. That is, until he discovers that the leader of the other project team is none other than Pran, his old neighbor and childhood enemy, who hasn't seen him since that Christmas concert in high school. And maybe it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the fact that one of the investors knew both of their parents and how much they hated each other.

Now Pran, whom Pat hasn't seen in fifteen years, is suddenly his boyfriend—at least, on the surface. He's still the same Pran from before, except for the parts where he's older and different, and grew up without Pat.
