Shane was intoxicated by Ilya’s natural smell, always had been since the moment they’d felt the first spark of attraction between them after a competitive workout on exercise machines.
He loved the smell of Ilya first thing in the morning when his cologne had worn off and all that remained was the warm musk of his underarms, he loved the way he smelled like sunshine and sweat when Ilya came back from outdoor runs, or the way he smelled when he stripped off his hockey gear after a long game.
