Rebecca needs to finish an article in time to get a promotion at work. She writes articles in secret for restaurants on the side and has become famous for making or breaking a place. Marco wants one of her reviews so he can keep his father's legacy alive in the form of his own Italian restaurant. Rebecca Prince doesn't normally do favors. But she needs one of her own. If he'll take her overly available mother out on a few dates so Rebecca can get her article done in time, she'll write him a review before the Valentine's Day rush that he's hoping to draw in.
She wasn't expecting her mother to fall in love with the guy. And she wasn't expecting to miss her so much when she did.

Summary
Will Gardner is torn between his feelings for his casual hook up, his married associate and his business partner. He must have a thing for unavailable women. He happens to know however, that his business partner Daine loves him back. But he's never confirmed they felt the same for one another, and so she's moving on with another man. Trouble is this new relationship isn't treating her well, or their firm very well either. Their third partner's plans to kick them out of their own firm would only be supported by the emotional turmoil going on.
Inspired during the episode "The Silver bullet" in season two.
