Something in his gaze quickly changes and it takes him a deep breath before being able to eventually let it out. For a moment, her mind wonders and wanders what he may ask. She imagines him asking her about her clone, what happened between her and Simmons, where she went after their encounter in China, but what comes out of his mouth is simpler.
