Summary
In one world, a baby is found in a well at the local shrine. Despite his odd looks, he is adopted and cared for by the Higurashis, and raised into a respectable shrine maiden, caring for and protecting the shrine as he blooms into his teenage years.
In another, the youngest son of InuTaisho goes missing not long after his birth, and the eldest never stops seeking his kin, despite the years going by.
How strange it is that the well that once held him as an infant brings him to his destiny.
(Or: what if Inuyasha was Kagome but in a 'got sent to the future' kinda way)

"Never mind." Kagome waves her hand, "but what's winter like here? I'm curious."
Inuyasha glares briefly, curious and annoyed. Kagome smiles, mustering all her innocence in pretty blinks and pearly white teeth. Then her expression shifts.
Kagome has never seen this type of expression on Inuyasha before, she's seen the half-demon angered, happy, sad, even in mourning when it came to Kikyo. But this- this was different, calm. Small. It reminded her of-

Summary
It was true, to say the least, that Luke’s emotions could lead to some problems. The boy could swing back and forth between emotions at a drop of a hat, even though that was slowly getting tempered. Though his emotions seemed as strong as they ever were, they tended to show themselves through quieter means, dedicated actions instead of words. Still, more than once everybody had wished for Luke to…cool off a bit, learn more emotional regulation so that he wasn’t feeling so much so often.
But not like this. Never like this.
