Summary
In which the story doesn’t end.
We follow Gator’s story, following the aftermath of everything that happened thus far. Dot who promised she’ll visit Gator in prison and bring him his favourite cookies.
Gator, newly blind and having to adapt, he navigates and tries to live in this new darkness. He’s transferred to the Texas Federal Medical Centre, instead of a normal prison.
He didn’t expect to find a friend in such a place, a guy who makes him feel not so isolated and alone in the dark. Suddenly, he’s faced with new challenges, reality changing realisations, he’s confronted with his past beliefs, his sins and how he must accept it and move forward to be better.
The blind rabbit, finds a deaf fox in the same cage amongst other animals and creatures, they both rely on each other to be better, find their redemption and live with their past.

Summary
It's been months on Erid and Grace was just now starting to feel a sense of safety fall over him. Safety, however, is not always the best thing. Sometimes, with safety nets, comes the reason for them.
It had started just hours into the morning. A creeping feeling that he only vaguely remembered from the start of middle school. Putting his face in his hands, Grace groans loudly. He had forgotten all about this until now. Routinely every 3 months he would give himself the tablet, absent mindedly, and now? He had none.
Taking a deep breath, he wasn't fully sure how to even make them- actually he was totally sure, but the pain rising up was making his brain cloudy. Humans were animals after all. They had heat cycles just as any mammal. But he would be fine removing the organ entirely.
Ryland stopped to think about that. He trusted Rocky to give him open heart surgery.. he wondered if he could give him a full hysterectomy... before he could even start to use logic to theorize, pain was shot through him.
Ffuuddgge how was he supposed to do anything like this? He hated being an omega.

Summary
For three hours, he’s at the beach, takes off his socks and hikes Ilyukhina’s dress up, and stands in the water. He left the cane on the shore; it hurts to let his frame bear the brunt of gravity unsupported. The reliable tide, just cool enough to chill him a little, laps at his shins.
He closes his eyes and tries to forget about himself, the familiar ache in his joints and spine. Allows himself to imagine something else.
A different truth, a hypothetical, a thought exercise.
Rocky can't bear to lose Grace. But he can bear to watch Grace wither away from a sickness easily cured by Earth medicine even less.
Grace has to make another choice.
Or: After thirteen years on Erid, Grace leaves his true home for Earth. Eva Stratt lives to see him return. Earth takes note of the changes.

Summary
Grace lives a long and happy life on Erid with his cluster-members Rocky and Adrian, until he passes at the age of 95. He wakes up to find himself back in his San Francisco apartment and has to face navigating the most difficult part of his life in a language he hasn't spoken in 60 years.
OR; After finding himself in the past, Ryland Grace has to try his best to keep his head down and figure out what he wants to do with his second try at solving the Astrophage problem and returning to his family. He struggles with language barriers, culture shock, and worst of all: he never really recovered all of his memories from his first time on earth.
