Or: Hao is exhausted and stressed from having to make adjustments to his life in anticipation of his re-debut. Hanbin holds the solution to his problems in the palm—or fist—of his hand.

Euijoo was clingier than Nicholas before the rolling cues became terrifying and the sound of slates being hit signified the death of comfort in one's own skin. Where performance was something owed, a necessity of the gravest kind — Euijoo was a really good performer.

So when Nicholas woke up and Euijoo was not in the dorm anymore, his mood was immediately ruined.

“With me?” Hanbin blurts out, her voice catching halfway through.
Hao laughs again, louder this time.
At her.
“Sorry, sorry,” Hao keeps saying between breaths, trying and failing to get herself together. Eventually the laughter settles into a soft giggle, and she wipes at the corner of one eye. “With the painting. I fell in love with your painting.”
Maybe the floor could open up now and swallow Hanbin whole. That’d be nice.
Hanbin, an art student, keeps losing focus in her life painting class because of Zhang Hao, the model she can’t stop looking at. The tension between them builds until it finally detonates into something more.
