"Let me rephrase," ART croons. "Why do your internal systems list the expected length of a full recharge cycle to be four hours and recommend weekly adherence? Specifically I'm wondering why this would be the case when I've only ever observed you recharging an average of three hours every two weeks."
Oh. This is a caretaking thing.

SecUnit doesn't recharge very often. ART starts trying to change that. -

“I don’t have any sort of intentions!” Law snaps and rubs the bridge of his nose. “Straw Hat, I have no plans to court you.”
Luffy narrows his eyes and crosses his arms.
“If you’re too shy to talk about it yet, I can wait!” Luffy tells him sternly. “But if you think you can fool me into thinking you’re not trying to marry me, then you’re pretty stupid! Of course I’ll notice you stealing my heart!”
--
After leaving Straw Hat Luffy behind on Amazon Lily, there's a selkie pelt in the laundry on the Polar Tang. Law does not put the pieces together.

Summary
Hiccup, Fishlegs, and Camicazi have managed to escape the American Dream 2 but are now faced with the impossible task of finding their way back to Berk with nothing but two hunting dragons, a table, and a boy good at plans who has a head wound. The task becomes even more impossible when the troop of dragon riders who rescue them turn out to be strangely familiar... and prove to be evidence that they are less of an ocean away from home and more of an entire different dimension away from the Barbaric Archipelago they know and love.
One thing is for sure: If they ever get back home they certainly deserve to be declared the winners of that swimming race.
--
bookxmovie crossover featuring the main book trio (plus stormfly and toothless of course) ending up on the Edge for a few weeks interacting with the Riders and their dragons. Book knowledge is fairly important to understanding what is going on. Not a lot of plot but very many shenanigans and wish fulfillment scenarios. Title subject to change! -

Ghost implies two things about a being. One, that the being was once alive. Two, that now it is dead.
Sea ghosts are a touch more transient. Once they were alive, now they are dead, but oh how they want that life back.

Positive Representation, Complex Emotions, and a Fictional but Semi-Heroic SecUnit in Media by BlatantBookworm

Summary
I don’t normally pay that much attention to the credits. In general, I tend to care more about the fictional characters than the real humans playing them, but this had caught my attention.
I mean, it wasn't the first serial that ever put in a SecUnit as a villain instead of a prop. RihaniLane Street had actually made their SecUnit villain sympathetic before it tried to kill everyone. And obviously this fictional SecUnit was going to be a villain, too, because they always were, but that scene was —
The credits said ‘Made and Produced in GoodNightLander Independent.’
Oh.-
Or, Murderbot has feelings about finding positive representation.
Mostly positive.
Even when humans try, they get SecUnits wrong in media.
(Not the murder, the murders were justified, but the writers made the fictional SecUnit like cubicles)
(It’s still pretty positive.)Series

Summary
Kukri kept sending me media about “Robbing the Hood” and telling me to watch it, that I’d understand what was going on better if I did, but I had no interest in watching people rob Hoods, whatever those were. I didn’t like robbing in real life (I did it because I had to not because I wanted to) and I doubted I’d like it in media.
Shortly after hacking its governor module, a rogue SecUnit is involved in an ill-fated space battle and finds itself alone save for the company of a mourning raider ship bot pilot. It would like to spend the rest of its life watching media in what remains of the ship's crew quarters, but it turns out that "the rest of its life" wouldn't be long at all without the money to pay for proper maintenance. There seems to be only one way to get that money.

Summary
I had expected that the "ship in distress" might be trying to lure us into an ambush, because I'm paranoid like that. What I couldn't anticipate was those raiders bringing a harpoon to a space fight, and managing to impale me into ART's hull with one lucky shot.
