Hermione wiggled up the bed, twisting over to reach for the lamp to see his body better. Her laptop screen lit up somewhere on the mattress from her motions.
The laptop she had brought for the trip. The laptop she was using today before they left.
“Oh,” Malfoy mumbled, cringing in the harsh white light. The jeans around his waist dropped to the floor in an unmistakable sound. Hermione froze in her awkward, half-turned position. “Wait.”
With the screen of her MySpace account. The account she was looking at his on.
“Is that—”
Hermione dove. She scrambled for it, hands clawing at cheap cotton-polyester blend. Malfoy was faster. Seekers. Hermione collapsed at the top of the bed, head hitting the pillows in defeat. He plucked his trophy up off of the bed, holding it to his face to peer at the screen in utter confusion. “Is this my MySpace profile?”

Hermione took a shaky breath as she tried to process those words. Surely there was some kind of mistake. This poor child was lost and confused. Of course she would find an adult who might look vaguely like her mum. It’s what she would have done if she were in her shoes.
Is daddy okay?
And Fred must have some kind of resemblance to her father. Probably his hair, since it was one of his most distinguishing features. It wasn’t like the Weasleys were the only family of redheads in the UK.
That was the only logical explanation.
