Summary
Misinformation courteousy of the papers has spread the lie of Ace’s death across the Grand Line, but while he did survive his ordeal at Marineford, it's decided that hiding his identity for the sake of training secretly is his best option.
Unfortunately, the only one skilled enough to take him on as a student is a member of the terrorist organization known as the Revolutionary Army. Ace is less than happy about the situation, but has little choice but to seek the revolutionaries out for sanctuary.
When he does find them, he in fact finds more than just a teacher.
A reunion he never thought possible, never even dared to imagine because it simply hurt too much — but he's not the only one in pain, and seeing the extent of his childhood friends suffering terrifies him.
How is he supposed to protect Sabo from the ghosts that haunt him when everyone is claiming he's forgotten ten years of his life?
How was Ace supposed to help if Sabo didn't even remember him?

The humans of NInjago have never approved of hybrids. Even if they look mostly human and could think and speak just like one, they were not to be trusted. Their animal instincts made them dangerous and primitive. They're just too.... unnatural. So because of this, Hybrids must live in a constant state of discrimination and abuse. If only the citizens of Ninjago knew that while they were throwing rocks at the poor rabbit hybrid.... their loveable ninja whom they praise so much, were hybrids as well.
