    Summary

Paintings scattered the walls that almost seemed to move on their own–as if they were breathing. The floor was covered in miscellaneous garbage, including a lamp standing on (hopefully) fake human feet, a glass vial filled with some mysterious blue liquid, and a whole lot of bandages.

But the most disturbing thing definitely had to be the sculpture of some sort of owl-faced tube. Michael had to pinch himself to check if he was dreaming.

    He wasn’t, unfortunately.

“HIA, PAL!” The sculpture greeted. “I’m HOOTY! HOOT HOOT!”

    Summary

Sometimes I wonder if we'll ever wake up from that day. If we're stuck like this. Stuck fighting each other. Wages and guns. Rich and poor. Red and blue.
Just a stupid race to the end; a relay of finances and imaginary numbers. I'm tired of it all. We're all tired, but we'll always just blame it on each other. We'll always blame our sleep on the awake.

    Shards.
Hundreds and hundreds of tiny pieces of glass.
That is the first thing that Paper saw when he opened the door of the empty apartment.
    “Shit.” Paper recoiled.
The room was freezing cold, enough that the windows in the room had started to frost over, leaving enough natural light for OJ’s unmoving and cracked body to be just barely visible in the dark room.
