Lucifer is very aware that certain aspects of personal grooming tend to go out the window for him on bad days (or weeks—or months). He does his best to keep up with it—he really does! It's just that the more visible things like his hair and clothes get priority, and by the times he realizes what a disaster his living space has become, or even worse, his wings...
Things were easier when he was living alone and there was nobody else around to notice things like the powder down that he scatters all over the place when he hasn't preened himself properly in too long. At least, they were until someone reaches out a helping hand.

“I’m fine,” Mr. Yang chokes out, but by the sound of his tone alone Caelus can tell that he is not, decidedly, fine. Caelus rushes to be by the other’s side, kneeling beside him. Mr. Yang is breathing roughly, the sound of his inhales hoarse.
From where she stands Himeko holds up a hand, halting Dan Heng and March 7th in their approach. “Something’s wrong with the stellaron,” she observes. “It wouldn’t be affecting Welt this way, otherwise.”
